No Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
Words and Music by Tory Hoff
In moving from breakfast, to lunch, and then to dinner, the tone of the song becomes increasingly distressful, slower, and lethargic - as if the singers are becoming more hungry as the day progresses. The breakfast section should be sung cheerfully, the lunch section should be sung with worry, and the dinner section should be sung very slowly, with much distress. As well, the song slows considerably for "I'm hungry, I'm hungry...". The song serves to remind us about the many young people in the world for whom hunger is an issue everyday.
